On the topic of Democracy and National Unity Day of Turkiye, News Editor of TRT Aslam Chandio while speaking from Istanbul on phone gave the historical overview of this important day in which ordinary citizens gathered and foiled the attempt of a military coup against the democratic government.
Dr Furqan, Head of Urdu Unit, TRT World from Istanbul said Pakistan was the country to condemn the coup attempt in Turkey. He said the Supreme Court of Pakistan declared FETO a terror group and the verdict was highly praised in Turkey.
