In this program, discussion was made on three topics of current relevance. It discussed measures being taken by incumbent government to put the country on track of economic stability, India’s unabated violations of human rights of Kashmiris and tomorrow’s bye-polls in Punjab.
Speaking in the program, renowned industrialist Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig appreciated the steps taken by the PML-N-led coalition government to overcome the economic crisis it inherited from previous government. He also suggested launching a media campaign to lure foreign investors into the country.
Prominent energy expert Dr Noor Fatima expressed hope that after the approval of IMF bailout package, image and credibility of the country will improve to attract more domestic and foreign investments.
Speaking on situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, IR expert Dr Zahid Anwar Khan said the reign of terror unleashed by Indian occupying forces on innocent Kashmiris cannot weaken Kashmiris’ resolve to stand for their rights. He traced the intensity in violent campaign to policies of Modi led fascist regime that are inspired by Hindutva ideology.
Senior Kashmiri journalist Raja Kafeel Ahmed lamented on world’s silence that has encouraged the Indian government and its forces to commit worst human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Yousuf Shah from APP gave an overview of the preparations being made by Election Commission of Pakistan and other institutions for smooth and peaceful conduct of bye-polls in various constituencies of Punjab.
