Three topics were discussed in today’s program including Pakistan’s call for promotion of trade and business ventures among D8 countries, commitment expressed by Beijing and Islamabad to early complete CPEC related projects, and US announcement to donate 16 million pediatric COVID-19 vaccines to Pakistan.
Speaking in the program, notable academician Dr. A. Z. Hilali said Pakistan is an important member of the organization and enjoys good relations with other members. He said these countries can work together to strengthen the economies and benefit through the shared expertise.
On the issue of CPEC, renowned economist Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said the incumbent government has once again invited the Chinese investors to invest in the power sector of the country. He said early completion of development and power projects under CPEC is top priority of the present government.
Distinguished IR Expert Dr Rizwan Naseer said Pakistan and China have been enjoying friendly relations for the last many decades. He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a gift for Pakistan to overcome its economic crises.
