Three topics were discussed in today’s program including Pakistan’s call for enhancing connectivity among SCO members, measures taken by incumbent government to encourage foreign investment into the country, and repressive actions of India to suppress Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
Speaking in the program, former ambassador Najam us Saqib said Pakistan and Afghanistan are connected with each other and both countries share regional, cultural and religious bonds. He said even the US knows it is impossible to maintain peace in Afghanistan without the help of Pakistan.
Emphasizing the importance of foreign direct investment in the country, renowned political economist Dr Noor Fatima said Pakistan needs investment as well as foreign exchange at this critical point.
Leading industrialist Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said investors of US Business Forum are looking for avenues to invest in different parts of the world. He said Pakistan has a very friendly business policy.
Distinguished Economist Dr Talat Shabbir said the Shehbaz-led incumbent government is working to bring more investment into the country. He said CPEC is a huge opportunity for Pakistan, which will boost the country's economy in every sector.
IR Expert Dr Zahid Anwar Khan said the Modi-led fascist Indian government is trying its best to suppress the voice of Kashmiri people for their freedom.
